SCC Calculator Rentals

This is the fee that is assessed to rent a calculator from the Media Center.

Agree to Terms *: DEFAULT: I understand that should this calculator loan become delinquent, it may be turned over to a collection agency/attorney and reported delinquent to a credit bureau. I promise to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees and other charges necessary for the collection of any monetary amount in order to replace the calculator, if not returned when due.
PENALTY: I also understand if I fail to return the calculator, by the due date noted below, I promise to pay the charge assessed against me to the lending institution. Said charge will be calculated at the rate of $10 for each month, or part thereof, that the calculator is late. The total amount of said charge may not exceed $150.

I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The above calculator, guidebook and cable are on loan from Media Services at Scottsdale Community College. Batteries are not provided with the loaned calculator. The loaned calculator must be returned by Friday, December 15th at 4:00PM.

Failure to return the calculator, guidebook and cable will require the borrower to pay Media Services the sum of any replacement costs. By turning a calculator in late I may forfeit the ability to rent a calculator the following semester.

I understand there is a $10.00 rental charge for the calculator and equipment borrowed. This fee is not refundable after the first week of classes. Should I rent the calculator after the first week of classes, I am not entitled to a refund. Should I drop the class prior to the end of the semester, the calculator is to be returned to Media Serivices in the Information Technology Building, in order to avoid late fees or replacement costs.
