Navigating the Digital World for Senior Adults
These 6 short sessions are designed for Senior Adults stepping into the use of technology. Each 2-hour workshop provides a slow-paced introduction to computers using the Windows-based operating system (No MACS), the Internet, file management and other topics for beginners. Instructor: 12 hours hand-on instruction taught by SCC Computer Information Systems' Faculty Emeritus, Pat Serrano. Location: CM 443, Dates: February 24th, 26th, 28th, and March 3rd, 5th, and 7th, 2025 (M/W/F). Start Time: 9:30am, End time: 11:30am.

Non-Credit Spring 2025 Jazz Ensemble
Jazz musicians will receive hands-on instruction, technique, evaluation, and weekly practice sessions. The Music Department will host this unique experience in the Music Building and share the course offerings at SCC that support continued education. Jazz musicians will receive practical experience, instruction and performance experience as part of the Jazz Ensemble class. Class meets weekly on Wednesdays. Start Date: 1/15/25, End Date: 4/2/25. Strings Camp for High School Musicians
During this two-week Strings Camp for violin, cello, bass or viola musicians, students receive instructions from master musicians. Daily sessions will include work on 3 octave scales, arpeggios and intense study of string techniques while rehearsing Regional and All-State excerpts. A concert will conclude the camp on the final day. Dates: June 2-5 and June 9-12, 2025. Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm, Location: MUS 119
