Workshops

These 4 short sessions are designed for Senior Adults stepping into the use of technology. Each 2-hour workshop provides a slow-paced introduction to computers using the Windows-based operating system, the Internet, file management for beginners. Instructor: 8 hours of hands-on instruction taught by SCC Computer Information Systems' Faculty Emeritus, Pat Serrano.

Gain experience and have fun exploring cybersecurity to protect you from hackers. Hands-on work will prepare you for the fun Crack the Rack activity. 8th-12th grade can enroll. CM 449, June 10-13, 2024, 9am-12pm, $140

Developing authors will learn to shape their ideas into stories, poems, and essays. 8th-12th grade can enroll. LC 356, June 3-6 and June 10-13, 2024, 9am-12pm, $155

Focus on technique while receiving instruction to improve your musical skill-level. Violin, Cello, Bass, and Viola. 5th-8th grade can enroll. Music Building Room 219, June 3-6 and June 10-13, 8:30am-11:30am, $230
